The University of Lincoln has been ranked within the UK’s Top 20 universities for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.
Over 87% of Lincoln students who completed the NSS this year agreed that they were satisfied with their course, compared to a national average of 83%. This ranked Lincoln as 14th out of 129 universities featured in the survey.
In addition to overall student satisfaction, Lincoln also rated highly in a number of degree subjects which students can progress to from the International Study Centre. These include:
- Finance, Marketing, Tourism, Transport and Travel, and Sociology all ranked in the top 10 for overall student satisfaction.
- History and Accountancy both ranked in the top 20 for overall student satisfaction.
- Tourism, Transport, and Travel ranked 2nd in the UK based on Lincoln’s teaching and learning opportunities.
The positive results follow Lincoln's five-star rating in the prestigious QS Stars ratings system, ranking among the top 150 young universities in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 and winning Modern University of the Year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.
