What Our Students Say...

Lincoln Erin

I came to the UK because it uses the same finance system as Hong Kong. I think it is a great finance system and I can learn it all here. I was a little bit nervous, but also curious. I’m a social guy, but I found it hard to communicate. So while making friends was not that hard, it was not that easy either. The language is hard for me, but the International Study Centre helped me a lot.

Lincoln ISC student Danny from China

I chose media because I love it, plus my mother was working in a radio station in our home town. When I go back to China I want to find a drama company and work as a director.

Lincoln is not too big, it has all the things that we use in our daily life. It’s safer than some big cities such as London or Manchester. It has a cathedral and a castle, and you can walk outside at night before dinner or after dinner.

I think it is very comfortable to live here.

I really like the International Study Centre teachers, they’re really helpful.

I like the fact that Lincoln is small. You don’t have to use a car, you can just walk around everywhere. Everything’s within reach.

Lincoln ISC student Ali from Iraq

Studying Computer Science has been my dream since I was young. When I graduate I plan to start my own computer security company in the Middle East. I have recommended Lincoln to a lot of people.

I play in the American football team for the university. I'm also doing some power lifting in the gym. I have a lot of friends in the student accommodation.
